We are excited to welcome Pratush Saravanan into our lab! Pratush is a first-year MD/PhD student through the South Texas Medical Scientist Training Program (STX-MSTP) at UTSA. As an MD/PhD student, Pratush is completing a rotation in the Palavicini lab over the summer. In the lab, Pratush's research will focus on the core biological processes in Alzheimer’s disease and on characterizing the relationship between glial cells and the hallmarks of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
